🚫Never pay a viewing fee
No legitimate landlord or agent charges money just to view a property. A "viewing fee" demand is the #1 scam signal in Zimbabwe -- report it immediately and walk away.
🔍View before you pay anything
Never send a deposit, rent, or "reservation fee" for a property you have not physically seen inside. Photos can be stolen from other listings.
💬Keep the conversation on Musha
Our secure chat is your evidence trail. If a listing is removed as a scam, tenants who unlocked it are refunded automatically -- that protection does not extend to side deals on other platforms.
🧾Demand proof of ownership
Ask for the title deed or a signed agency mandate, and check the name matches their ID. Verified badges on Musha mean our team has reviewed these documents.
🚩Report anything suspicious
Every listing has a Report button. Reports go straight to our moderation queue, and confirmed scams end up on this page -- taken down, with the account blacklisted.
Takedown registry
Listings removed for scam activity or safety violations. Anonymized -- location, price, and date only. Every tenant who had unlocked one of these was refunded automatically.
